Barbro Zeineh

Barbro originates from Sweden and her intention was to become a linguist before she stumbled across the legal world and decided to make this her vocation. With over 27 years of practical experience in all aspects of family law, Barbro qualified as a Lawyer in 1989 and joined Franklins Family Department in 1999. She is a member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel, Resolution and a trained Collaborative Lawyer. Barbro is happily married, and in her spare time enjoys working out at the gym, fine dining, socialising with family / friends and retail therapy.

Katie Rainscourt

Katie joined Hawkins in 2011 as a senior solicitor, specialising in all issues arising on relationship breakdown, with a particular focus on financial issues.

After completing her law degree at University College, Oxford, and training at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain solicitors in London, Katie qualified as a Solicitor in 2003.

On qualification she joined the family team at Boodle Hatfield solicitors in Oxford, a top tier Legal 500 team, advising clients in all family matters including pre-nuptial agreement, divorce, ancillary relief, cohabitation breakdown and children issues. She has particular expertise in advising medium to high net worth clients on the financial issues arising on relationship breakdown, including providing advice to clients in cases with an international element.

Katie trained as a trained collaborative lawyer in 2008 and is a member of Resolution. She is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme.

Pauline Purcell

Pauline is the Managing Director of Purcell Solicitors, a specialist family law firm in Central Milton Keynes. She is an experienced family Solicitor, Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer. Pauline was one of the first Collaborative Lawyers in the country and has considerable experience representing clients in this way. She is committed to the collaborative process as an innovative way of helping couples resolve their disputes in an amicable and civilised way. Pauline says “It is incredibly rewarding to see a client come through the collaborative process having made their own decisions about the future whilst remaining on reasonable terms with their former partner and most importantly able to focus on what is best for their children”

Gillian Meara

Gillian has been specialist family lawyer since 1991. Having had many years experience of the damage that protracted and acrimonious court proceedings can do to relationships especially where children are involved she is committed to the Collaborative process as a means of enabling couples to resolve their affairs on separation in a constructive and dignified manner. Gillian is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and a trained mediator. She has three children and enjoys cooking (not quite Nigella Lawson) and football.

Loraine Davenport

Loraine Davenport is a senior solicitor with Hawkins Family Law. Passionate about the collaborative process, Loraine has been accredited by Resolution and has over 11 years experience in family law specialising particularly in complex financial issues. She chairs the regional group of Resolution as well as being a committee member of the collaborative group and a member of the Resolution new members development and regional development working party. She is committed to the growth and development of good practice and collaborative law both locally and nationally. Loraine is married with two young children. She enjoys music, theatre, good food and wine.

Mary Banham-Hall

Mary Banham-Hall is a partner and Head of Family Law at Heald Solicitors LLP. Mary is an experienced family lawyer and mediator, and was one of the first collaborative lawyers in the country, believing strongly that couples should be helped to agree their own settlements if at all possible. Mary is a Resolution Accredited specialist (pensions and complex cases) and specialises in difficult financial cases. She is Treasurer of the Family Mediators Association and committed to non-adversarial, constructive divorce. Mary loves France, growing roses, markets, cooking, and yoga.

Stephanie Howe

Stephanie has specialised in family law since qualification and has acted on a wide ranging spectrum of family matters including financial and those relating to children.

Stephanie firmly believes that collaborative law offers a civilized and honest way of settling all of the issues that arise when a relationship breaks down and is a real alternative to traditional litigation. Stephanie is also a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to encouraging constructive solutions which consider the needs of the whole family and in particular the needs of any children.

Stephanie has three children in their teens and when not ferrying them around enjoys going to the theatre

Sally Smith

Sally Smith works for Toller Solicitors in Milton Keynes. Sally has specialised in family law since 1993.

Sally deals with all issues relating to divorce or relationship breakdown, including the resolution of issues relating to children and finances. Sally has particular interest in dealing with complicated financial issues where businesses, shareholdings or pensions are involved.

She is a member of Resolution, Law Society Family Panel and Collaborative Family Law. Sally is also a trustee of 'Relate' in Northampton, trustee of the City Counselling Centre - Milton Keynes and trustee of Bradby Club for Young People in Rugby.

Sally enjoys Skiing and playing Golf in her spare time.

Rachel Lander

Rachel is a senior Solicitor at Hawkins Family Law in Stony Stratford, having specialised in family law for over 16 years. She is an Accredited Specialist of Resolution and a trained Mediator. Rachel trained as a collaborative lawyer in May 2005, and was one of the first to help to establish collaborative practice in the North of England. She says, "Collaborative is a growing trend and is a civilised and constructive way to endeavour to resolve issues arising from divorce and separation, whilst helping to reduce mistrust and any ‘Chinese whispers’ effect that can all too easily build up in normal court proceedings".

Caroline Watson

Caroline is a Partner and Manager of the Milton Keynes and London offices of Russell Jones and Walker. Caroline has specialised in family law for over 6 years and is committed to the collaborative law process. In her spare time Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, DIY and badminton.

Tara Deegan

Tara has specialised in Family Law since she qualified in 1993. She heads the Family Law department at J Garrard & Allen in Olney. She is used to dealing with all types of financial case whether the assets are large or small. She also deals with children cases. Tara is committed to finding solutions for her clients and their families and having trained as a mediator and collaborative lawyer, believes that choosing the collaborative approach is one of the best ways to reach a fair solution and minimise the pain of a family breakdown. Tara is also a member of Resolution (previously the Solicitor Family Law Association) and is on the committee of her local Group as well as being a member of the Bedford and Northampton Collaborative Law Groups.

Jo Hawkins

Jo is the Managing Director of Hawkins Family Law which has been based in Stony Stratford just outside Milton Keynes for the last ten years. Jo has practiced exclusively in family law for over 19 years acting for people from all walks of life and views the collaborative process as being extremely effective as it gives the parties concerned control of their separation and helps maintain a civilized relationship between them on conclusion; something that is often lost through the Court process.

Jo is an Accredited Specialist of Resolution specialising in finance and children issues and also a member of the Resolution committee locally. She is additionally able to offer mediation services.

Clare Cain

Clare manages the Milton Keynes Divorce, Separation and Financial department at Adams Moore Family Law.  She has specialised in family law since 2000 and her practice covers all aspects of relationship breakdown including child care disputes.  Clare is a Collaborative Lawyer and Family Mediator and is a member of the Resolution Alternative Dispute Resolution group and Family Mediators Association.  Clare is also a Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and Committee Member for the local Resolution group.

Clare is passionate about her work and believes that Collaborative Law and Mediation offer client’s a better way of resolving their family issues for the long term benefit of both parties and the children.

In her spare time, Clare is a keen singer. She also enjoys dancing, travelling, cooking and playing squash.

Mandi Austin

Mandi Austin specialises in Family Law in particular complex financial issues and qualified as a solicitor in September 2000 and is a Director at Purcell. Mandi is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution. She is passionate about the Collaborative process and is the Treasurer of the local collaborative group and is committed to the expansion and growth of collaborative law having now completed a number of cases using the process. When not working Mandi enjoys socialising with friends and attends the gym at least twice a week which she says is a great stress reliever.

Carol Hill

Carol Hill is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives at Parrish Family Law Solicitors in Milton Keynes. She has over 15 years experience in family matters with particular emphasis on financial issues. Carol is a Resolution Accredited Specialist and an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel in financial and children law. Carol is married and enjoys gardening and eating out with her husband and friends.

Beth Woodward

Beth Woodward heads up the Divorce and Family Law Department at Neves' Milton Keynes office. She is the Chairperson of the local Collaborative Group and the Liaison Officer and represents the group at National level. She has specialised in family law for 15 years. She is enthusiastic about collaborative law, believing it offers couples control and dignity in the process of separating. Beth is a member of Resolution, the Law Society's Family Law Panel and the Children Panel. She enjoys reading, beautiful places, going out with her friends and cycling (slowly). Best of all she likes spending time and having fun outdoors with her family.

Charmaine Parrish

Charmaine Parrish is an experienced family law Solicitor and has practised exclusively in family law for over 15 years. She is accredited by Resolution as a specialist. She has particular expertise in resolving cases where there are complicated assets involving businesses and pensions. She is dedicated to alternative dispute resolution and she is a trained Collaborative lawyer and Family mediator. Charmaine is head of her family law practice, Parrish Family Law Solicitors in Olney, near Milton Keynes; she is Treasurer of the regional group of Resolution.

Jane Charlton

Jane is a member of Harvey Ingram Borneos, working in Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes and has over 18 years experience in family law, focusing on complex financial matters including businesses and pensions. Jane also deals with children matters. Jane is committed to the collaborative process. She is a member of Resolution and is on the committee of the Milton Keynes Contact Centre.
